Support to Survivors of Domestic Violence and other Forms of Gender-based Violence
Sangini’s core focus is to work against violence against women. Our Gender resource centre is also working as crisis center/helpline for women facing violence. Here we are also doing counselling of those women who are facing domestic violence and human rights violation.
The organisation provides handholding support on filing application forms, follow up of application, support to provide shelter, medical aid, hotlines and other emergency services through direct interventions. It created a group of victims who are helping each other and boosting their confidence. It also has an expert team of a lawyer, a counsellor, a physiologist and a case worker to support them.
