Under the “Bal Mitra Abhiyan” (Child-Friendly Initiative), a special awareness program was organized at the Government New Higher Secondary School, Chunabhatti, with the joint efforts of the local police and various partner organizations.
The program aimed to sensitize students about their rights, safety, and the importance of mutual respect and good behavior, both in school and within their community. Through interactive discussions and engaging activities, students were encouraged to express their concerns freely and understand how to seek help in case of any problem or unsafe situation.
On this occasion, Advocate Lata Aathya from Sangini, A.S.I. Mona Jadaun, and Head Constable Chameli from Chunabhatti Police Station were present and interacted with the students. They highlighted the importance of children’s safety, awareness about good and bad touch, cyber safety, and developing trust in law enforcement agencies.
The session concluded with a message emphasizing that building a safe and supportive environment for children is a collective responsibility of families, schools, the police, and society at large.
