To build the leadership among the community women’s we have given the training on legal rights and other related issues to 100 Domestic workers and adolescent girls. The training was given by the in charge of URJA (Urgent Relief and Just Action) helpdesk.
URJA Desk is a special desk set up for immediate hearing, assistance and action on violence against women and at these help desk most of the in charge are women police personnel and issued which required help apart from police are resolved through referral service. This special is established at various police stations of Bhopal.
The purpose behind this training was to introduce the community women’s to the special desk which is set up for their support and services. The in charge from this desk shared their functioning and role of the special help desk. The training was conducted in 3 batches on (11 and 12 November 2019; 21 and 22 November 2019; 21 and 22 December 2019).
